In a way, yes. The phrase ‘our couch is green’ comes from a verse in one of the most romantic books of the Bible, the Song of Songs:
“Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved, truly delightful. Our couch is green...”
That said, no, we don’t own an actual green couch. Our couches are a very nice shade of tan. We like them that way.
